Why is it important?
STEAM is a growing educational movement, and we showed that more STEAM papers were published between 2010 and 2014 than in the previous 15 years. STEAM approaches are less prevalent in pre-K and high school classrooms than other K-12 grades and college, which means that these areas are in need of study to determine how effectual STEAM techniques are.
