What is it about?
This article draws on research with care experienced children and young people in Wales. The study included creative and participatory methods of data generation and used film, artwork and music to communicate the findings of the study to a wide audience.

Why is it important?
Reseach can only have impact if it is engaging and accessibled and this project drew on multimodal methods including art, film and music to ensure that key messages from care experienced children and young people were communicated to teachers, practitioners and policy makers.
