What is it about?

Social support has shown important protective effects against caregiver burden and other negative outcomes. Caregivers of patients with primary malignant brain tumors face particularly hard challenges with physical and emotional changes with their loved one, which can happen fairly rapidly. Little is known about the composition of social networks of caregivers in this population, so that is what this study sought to describe.
