What is it about?
The research investigates how Hofstede’s cultural dimensions at the individual level influence online privacy among Vietnamese university students. Previous studies often approach culture as the surrounding environment, however, this article believes that culture is internalised in our mind, influencing our thinking and behaviours.

Perspectives
The article contributes to the theory of privacy, including privacy concern and privacy behaviours as well as factors affecting privacy components. This supports educators to create initiatives to promote enhance privacy among young users, especially when interacting online.
