What is it about?
By introducing a seprate mode decision-maker in the logic-based integrated estimation and guidance (IEG) system, a analytic approach to obtain the error distrinution of zero-effort miss distance is proposed. A fixed mode decision delay of the mode decision-maker is specifically taken into account. Based on the derived error model, three use cases are discussed, which give insights to the design of an IEG system.

Why is it important?
An analytic method for evaluating the error distriction of zero-effort miss distance is proposed, which is used to replace the traditional Monte Carlo simulation method and can be directly used to guide the design of an IEG system.
