What is it about?
This work leveraged a new mass spectrometry technique for quantitatively measuring the proteome, or the whole complement of proteins, in the nematode model organism C. elegans. Following treatment with two different small molecule nematode pheromones, we found protein and phosphorylation PTM changes to stress response and longevity regulating pathways.

Why is it important?
This is the first demonstration of the NeuCode proteomics labeling technique directly in vivo, as well as the largest C. elegans proteome published to date.
