What is it about?

Daily life presents us with many opportunities to talk to new people around us, but we often choose to keep to ourselves. This research suggests that by doing so, we're missing not only an opportunity for social connection, but also for learning. It turns out that talking to strangers leads to more learning than people anticipate.
