What is it about?
This paper presents an experiment using a magicians' forcing technique. Forcing techniques are techniques allowing magicians to covertly influence spectators' choice of card or item. Here, we managed to influence participants to think of and choose a specific playing thanks to the help of quick iconic/conversational gestures while asking them to imagine a card in their mind.

Why is it important?
