What is it about?
We systematically analyze the dielectric properties of 11 types of polyimides in the frequency range of 25–330 GHz using Fabry-Pérot resonators, exploring for the first time their potential application as low dielectric materials in 6G mobile communication systems.

Why is it important?
6G technology is expected to enable ultra-high-speed and large-capacity mobile communications, promoting technological innovations in various fields such as autonomous vehicles, smart cities, and remote medical care. The high-performance polymer insulating materials developed based on the insights gained from this study are anticipated to enhance the performance of future communication devices and provide a more stable communication infrastructure.
