What is it about?
In this article, the conditions of spatial localization of the solution and global solvability of the problem depend on the value of numerical parameters and nonlinear absorption power, as well as the evaluation of solutions and fronts obtained. A critical case and a double critical case are considered. The following properties of solutions have been established: the effect of the finite speed of flash propagation and the spatial localization of flash propagation. An exact solution has been found for some classes of coefficients.

Why is it important?
This text discusses a specific solution to a complex problem involving the behavior of a biological population in a medium with varying levels of absorption. Essentially, it explores the dynamics of how living organisms interact with their environment when that environment is not uniform. The perspectives on this topic could include further research into the behavior of biological systems in heterogeneous media as well as potential applications in fields such as ecology and medicine.
