What is it about?
When a droplet is put in the environment under low pressure, it will evaporate faster than usual. We have investigated the effect of pressure, droplet initial temperature and droplet size on the evolution of droplet temperature and evaporating rate. We have also extracted the flow information and the vapor concentration distribution from a simulation.

Why is it important?
The usage of the material with low thermal conductivity (aerogel) reduces the number of nucleate sites and maintains the droplet flash evaporation than the pendant droplet. The revised diffusion coefficient can be used to simulate the fast droplet evaporation under the framework of diffusion-driven evaporation.
