What is it about?
Pharmacogenetic screening, pharmacokinetic monitoring and measurement of biological markers will help to optimise the dose of tacrolimus in patients with high metabolism. A thrice daily divided dose instead of twice daily dose may be suitable for these patients to avoid toxicity. The toxic levels can be measured by measuring C 1.5hr and C0.
