What is it about?

Gamification is a great way to make tasks perceived as boring or monotonous more rewarding and fun. This paper explores this phenomenon by building a study application where students play games while studying making it more interesting and boost intrinsic motivation.

Why is it important?

The implementation and analysis of the gamified study up through a survey proved the system to be a viable solution to boost motivation and this performance in schools.

Perspectives

With my passion for games and game development, this project was a pleasure to work on. It having the potential to help students was a good motivation. With the support of the co-authors who happened to be my supervisors who provided great guidance and support, this project was successfully built, tested and analysed.
