What is it about?
Optical echography is a method able of producing similar images as histopathology (technique widely used by physicians). Unfortunately, optical echography and histopathology techniques are limited to ex-vivo applications. We propose in this article a new approach of optical echography allowing in-vivo applications.

Why is it important?
This new optical echography approach is dedicated to clinical applications. Indeed, current techniques used by physicians such as histopathology do not allow real-time diagnosis. The method that we propose here allows to bridge the gap.
