Why is it important?
Due to the most recent environmental requirements, wide desulfurization has become an an increasingly important way to obtain ultra-clean fuels for transportation of less than 15 ppm of sulfur, such as diesel, gasoline, and jet fuel. as a result of the strict requirements for transportation fuels.
Perspectives
It is highly beneficial to develop alternative desulfurization methods, including adsorbent desulfurization (ADS), oxidative desulfurization (ODS), and bio desulfurization (BDS), for the development of ultra-low-sulfur content gasoline. Desulfurization procedures must be more effective to obtain fuel with low sulfur content.
