Perspectives
It is important, as it lays down the foundation of lift and drag for a circular cylinder, which has been historically used (via conformal mapping) to lay down the foundation of aerodynamics. The present work and the other relevant experimental and computational references will compel one and all to revisit this foundational topic with a new perspective. This is with our utmost tribute to Prof. F. M. White.
