This is a study conducted about the number of women enrolled and working in selected Physics Departments within a developing country - Nigeria.

Perspectives
Several factors have contributed to the increasing number of women enrolled in Physics as reported in this article. The most important factor can be attributed to the campaign by the Women in Physics (Nigeria Chapter) and OWSD team. There is still much to be done in increasing the number of women enrolled in Physics.
