What is it about?
Metglas/LiNbO3/Metglas trilayers were designed and studied as a function of the ferroelectric crystal cut angle. Magnitude of the direct magnetoelectric effect is comparable with PMN-PT -based trilayers. Anisotropy of magnetoelectric response of the trilayer can be easily tuned by changing of the cut angle.
