What is it about?
Superferromagnetic state in Co-Al2O3 granular films has been detected through analysis of temperature dependences of the coercivity. Magnetic force microscopy has shown that the film is divided on superferromagnetic domains - large volumes containing many nanoparticles and having almost uniform magnetization. The spontaneous magnetization inside the superferromagnetic domains was measured as function of the temperature. The temperature of superferromagnetic ordering has been determined.
