What is it about?
Pranajiwa (Euchresta horsfieldii) is a medicinal plant that exclusively grows in mountainous forests. The research aims to cultivate this species outside of its natural habitat under various soil conditions. During the initial trial, we simply added extra fertilizer, both chemical and organic. The results reveal that this plant can cultivate outside of its normal habitat, however with no meaningful reaction to extra fertilizer.

Why is it important?
The significance of this experiment is that it demonstrates that this species can exist outside of its usual habitat. This can serve as the foundation for considering how to empower populations living near the National Park by cultivating this species. The influence can help to protect this species in its natural environment while also increasing community income.
Perspectives
This study is partnership research with the national park, so it is challenging. This is simply a minor contribution, but we want to develop and continue this partnership on a larger scale in the future.
