What is it about?

Fifth generation(5G) mobile technology relies heavily on MIMO and due to the small size of the phone, the antennas used must be small and compact. This paper proposes the design of eight MIMO antenna elements for mobile phones operating on sub-6 GHz 5G.

Why is it important?

We designed the proposed antenna from low-cost, high-efficiency materials, fabricated it, and compared the simulation results with the test results, which demonstrated effective performance while maintaining the mobile device's overall cost.
