What is it about?

We propose an equation that predicts the most fundamental porous media flow. Validated with ~6000 sets of data, this new equation is far more comprehensive than classic equations (E.g. Darcy law). It has a parameter that scales very well for design.

Why is it important?

The equation proposed in this work provides a desirable unified fundamental equation that is capable of predicting fundamental porous media flows for the entire range of flow regimes encountered in practice.
