What is it about?

Our study aims to investigate the change in the polarization and coherence properties of a partially coherent elegant Laguerre–Gaussian (eLG) vortex beam propagating in turbulent plasma. First, the analytical expression for the elements of the cross-spectral density (CSD) matrix on propagation in turbulent plasma is determined using the extended Huygens–Fresnel principle and is used to study its polarization and coherence properties in turbulent plasma. We then provide a detailed illustration of the numerical results.
