What is it about?

Abstract. Fluorescence quenching method is a high degree of selectivity to detect low concentration of NaNo3 dissolved in water , which range between ( 3-50 ) ppm by photonic crystal fiber sensor based on Mach-Zehnder interferometer (PCFIM) coated with conjugate polymer MEH-PPV:MWCNTs nanocomposite at volume ratio (0.95:0.05) ml as sensitive material. The results showed the response of the fluorescence spectrum to the quenching was clearly decreased with the increase in the solute concentration of NaNo3, and has sensitivity that reached (10) a.u/ppm. Keywords: Fiber optic sensors technology, Fluorescence quenching methods, Mach-Zehnder interferometer, organic polymer.
