What is it about?
This paper describes how a hot EGR reduces the emission from a diesel engine on usage of biodiesel. The ill effects of EGR on performance characteristics of the engine are also discussed. How a compromise can be arrived on the amount of EGR that can be safely used.

Why is it important?
The Uniqueness of this work is the Vateria Indica that has been used to extract biodiesel which is rarely done. There no research work available on EGR with this biodiesel till date.
