What is it about?
This paper describes the design and testing of a low noise current supply. Our target application is creating magnetic fields for atomic physics based quantum systems for quantum simulation and computation. Existing low noise supples either have low bandwidth or operate only at low current.

Why is it important?
Quantum experiments are very sensitive to external noise so low cost high performance power supplies are essential. These devices have application outside of quantum simulation, for example for spectroscopy, NMR, or powering superconducting magnets in high bandwidth applications.
