What is it about?

The topic of this study is the fabrication of photocatalytic materials. TiO2 as the most famous photocatalytic materials, can decompose not only the organic impurities but also harmful bacteria and virus. However, TiO2 can not sufficiently act under the UV light including only 5% in the sun-light. Then, we have produced the idea that the visible-light reactive WO3 and the hydrophilic SiO2 are mixed for the drastic enhancement of the photocatalytic activity of TiO2.
