What is it about?

This paper deals with the complexities of Casting a Francis Turbine. Casting simulation is one of the underrated techniques that should be pursued. Numerous simulation and experimental verification should be done before the casting to get the appropriate starting condition of casting. This paper shows the importance of casting simulation and its analysis to help reduce cost in the actual casting of Francis Turbine Runner

Why is it important?

First, It reduces the overall cost of the casting. we set a certain number of parameters and following the hit and trial approach and analyzing each and every outcome, we can reach the optimum casting parameters without even casting a single thing. This helps to understand and analyze casting and then one can proceed with the most optimum parameters.
