What is it about?
Measurements of hyperfine interactions on Ce and Cd impurities in rhombohedral LaMnO3.15 reveal an anomalous magnetic hyperfine field at Ce impurities below the magnetic ordering temperature. Immediately above this temperature, dynamical hyperfine interactions were observed and were assigned to a fast regime of charge movement with smaller activation energy than that observed for manganites with smaller oxygen concentrations.

Why is it important?
The paper clearly shows that the perturbed angular correlation technique is able to track fast charge movements as well as indicates that the 4f electron of very dilute Ce impurities have a local effect on the charge movement.
