Integration of landscape architecture and ecosystem services: A path to sustainable design

It aims to understand how these two fields connect and what research has been done on the subject. The authors reviewed over 5,600 research papers published between 2000 and 2020. Most of the studies were from North America, Europe, and East Asia. The majority of the studies focused on natural sciences. The review highlights key topics, important keywords, and developing areas of research.

These efforts can help us in making landscapes that are attractive and environmentally and economically sustainable as well.
