The measurement can be done at bedside within 60 minutes and thrombotic and thrombolytic activities can be measured simultaneously.

Regular assessment of individual thrombotic status by this test, Global Thrombosis Test, and mild long-term exercise and intake of antithrombotic diets could prevent stroke and heart disease.
