What is it about?

This paper proposes a neuronal model for the identification of both modes of operation of a battery (charge-discharge). Based on this model, a control algorithm is proposed for the current that comes from or is applied to the battery.

This scheme facilitates the design of a single controller instead of designing a controller for each mode of operation, which is the form that is normally performed.

Perspectives

The controller will be incorporated into a microgrid completely controlled by neural networks to validate its performance.
