What is it about?

Protection of organisational information assets needs collaboration of all employees; information security collaboration (ISC) aggregate the efforts of employees in order to mitigate the effect of information security breaches and incidents. However, It is acknowledged that ISC formation and its development needs more investigation. This research endeavours to show how ISC forms and develops in the context of an organisation based on social bond factors.

Why is it important?

Decreasing the risk of information security breaches is a team work. Prediction, prevention and recovery of attacks need collaboration of all employees in an organisation. This research explains how effective information security collaboration can decrease the effect of information security breaches.

Perspectives

Writing this article was a great pleasure as it has several well-known co-authors from several different information security centres. The subject of research is very important in the domain of information security.
