What is it about?
A real time empirical mode decomposition technique is applied to extract the fundamental component of source current and with the help of positive sequence voltage component, the reference compensation current is generated under ideal and nonideal grid voltage condition.

Why is it important?
The proposed control technique accurately extract the required compensating current and the source THD is drastically reduced and meets the IEEE 519 standard.
