A new useful tool used in stability analysis for time-delay systems

Why is it important?
We derive some new refined Jensen-based inequalities which encompass both the Jensen inequality and its most recent improvements. Applications to stability analysis of some class of time-delay systems reveal that our new inequalities can significantly reduce conservativeness of the resulting stability conditions.
