What is it about?

Interprofessional education programs are supposed to lead to better teamwork and better patient health outcomes. There is a lot of research on these programs and learner outcomes, but very little evidence of actual changes to interprofessional practice that better our health. This viewpoint paper suggests utilizing a translational model as a map to help investigators identify the research goals that will fill in the research gaps.
