What is it about?
We tested children with dyslexia, children with dyslexia and developmental language disorder and children with typical development to see how well they could learn spoken words. Children with dyslexia had the most trouble with learning the sounds of words. Children with developmental language disorders had trouble learning both the sounds of the words and what the objects looked like.
