Why is it important?
This paper is important to better understand how we rate the emotional state of others. It was not uncommon that a listener gave an emotional label, but was unsure that the label they gave was the right one. In these ambiguous situations, we may incorrectly assume how someone is feeling, which may have negative consequences.
