What is it about?
Many words, like "appreciate" and "remember," are common in everyday conversations, but they aren't frequently used in treatments for people with aphasia. These are people who have lost their ability to communicate as they did before because of a stroke or other brain injury. We demonstrate that using this other type of words in speech therapy is possible, and potentially very helpful for people with aphasia.
