What is it about?
This study shows the importance of differentiating picture stimuli on the basis of name agreement and source of disagreement for any picture being named. This means an individual may have difficulty producing a name but it may be due to the type of picture rather than anomia due to an organic brain process.

Why is it important?
The findings help to disentangle the involvement of lexical selection when naming impairments are identified using various clinical tests of naming, in which the sources of name disagreement are commonly not differentiated.
