Assessment and revison of audiology report

What is it about?

This paper presents findings from a study that evaluated and revised a typical pediatric diagnostic report. First, the report was evaluated using parent interviews and readability analysis. Results indicated the unrevised report did not meet health literacy guidelines. The report was revised using best practice and parent interviews. The revised report had improved readability. Parents showed higher comprehension, self-efficacy and opinions of the revised report compared to the unrevised report.
