Why is it important?

Often times research informs providers of interventions that are beneficial for patients. There is less emphasis on the "how to", especially as it relates to supporting/strengthening the therapeutic relationship. The therapeutic relationship is a key aspect in rehabilitation and treatment outcomes and should be considered an area of focus for treatments.

Perspectives

Having a cross-discipline narrative on therapeutic alliance within rehabilitation offers a unique perspective on how to capitalize on the relationship in rehab in order to assist people in reaching their goals of treatment.
