What is it about?
Prosody is a crucial aspect of linguistic information. For the first time, we demonstrate that prosody(sentence level accentuation) influences the planning scope of sentence production. We also provide a detailed exploration of how concepts and prosody jointly affect sentence production, including the online processing and external acoustic prominence.

Why is it important?
This study fills a crucial gap in our understanding of how prosody influences the scope of sentence planning and how conceptual and prosodic elements coordinate during sentence production. By examining how sentence-level prosody (such as accentuation) interacts with conceptual focus, this research reveals the cognitive processes involved in sentence production and provides valuable insights into the coordination between conceptual and prosodic encoding. Understanding this coordination is essential for a comprehensive understanding of the language production process.
