What is it about?

The use of a nano-capsule for selective protection of mono-unsaturated fatty-acid esters is described. This study contrasts prior work in which smaller esters were protected based on guest affinity (how strongly they bind) to the nanocapsule. Protection of these larger esters was found to be dependent on how the guest is oriented (the packing motif) within the nano-capsule.
