What is it about?
Mass spectrometry with an inductively coupled plasma ionization source (ICP-MS) is used in many laboratories around the world for trace elemental analysis. We have built a data acquisition system for this apparatus that is capable of detecting single nanoparticles with microsecond time resolution and improved data quality. This helps to characterize every single particle in complex mixtures of thousands of particles and speeds up nanomaterials characterization.
