What is it about?
ZnO layers have been shown to have useful properties for hybrid organic/inorganic solar cells. Here we produce ZnO layers through atmospheric oxidation of an evaporable ZnSe precursor layer.

Why is it important?
This paper represents a step towards an all-vacuum evaporable device that contains a metal oxide/organic interface which would significantly simply production compared to the currently used solution based routes.
