What is it about?
Lymphocytes are essential part of the adaptive immune response, although much is known of the activation mechanisms, we still have a lot to learn, using published databases we explored new molecules that could be important for the early activation events that will lead to a complete T cell response.

Why is it important?
Immune therapy is a burgeoning field and although incredible success has been reached for some diseases we still have many open questions, for example why some patients don´t respond well?, why is there clones that escape from the therapy?, etc., knowing more details of the productive immune cell activation could help to resolve some of those problems.
