What is it about?
How to improve heat dissipation in polydimethylsiloxane based microfluidic devices. The incorporation of diamond particles having excellent thermal conductivity improves heat dissipation in the devices.

Why is it important?
Some micrfluidic devices are used in capillary electrophoretic mode, where Joyle heating occurs and affects the separation. The solution of this problem is proposed by using thermal conducting and dielectric at the same time diamond particles as additive to PDMS.
