Why is it important?
This checklist helps to understand the different methods by which a child may be exposed to sexual exploitation, such as via different forms of technology, by direct contact, and methods of coercion. It further helps to consider if such attempts to sexually exploit a child have been successful or not for the perpetrator, and therefore adding greater knowledge for the clinician/researcher.
