What is it about?
Mesothelioma is a cancer caused as the result of exposure to asbestos. Due to the continued presence of asbestos in industrialised nations, and use of asbestos in industrially developing nations, both asbestos and subsequent mesothelioma remain an important public health concern. This paper provides an overview of the research exploring peoples' experiences of living with mesothelioma, and considers ways of supporting these individuals.
